He is Risen

April 16, 2015

Luke 24:1-35

These verses hold some of the greatest news that changed the world “HE IS RISEN.”

This news should be enough to keep us from doing anything wrong ever again. But……

We see so often that life and situations overwhelm us to the point we forget what the scripture promises us.

Vs. 6 tells that they needed reminded: Remember how he spoke to you.vs7 saying, The Son of Man must be

Delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

Vs. 8 And they remembered His words.

Today have you allowed life to overwhelm you? Bills, unemployed, marriage failing, addiction, and/or just plain down.

Let me remind you of some scripture:

Psalm 3:3

3 But You, O Lord, are a shield about me,
My glory, and the One who lifts my head

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

Romans 4:21

and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform

2 Corinthians 7:1

[ Paul Reveals His Heart ] Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God

Hebrews 13:5

“I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,”

2 Corinthians 13:14

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

1 Corinthians 10:13 [Full Chapter]

No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me

John 3:16-17

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His [a]only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

Romans 8:28 [Full Chapter]

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose

I hope after read the WORD of God you are reminded that he is in control, we just have to have enough faith to allow him to do what he says he is going to do!
