Welcome Friends!

We are a small church with a big heart! We enjoy a good sermon, good friends, and laughter. We have found that people are starved for the word of God. They are lost and do not know which direction to go. We are here to help give direction by sharing our own experiences. Our hope is to show others where we've been - through struggles, loneliness, despair and sin - and how we were able to be saved no matter how bad our actions were in the past. Once you gain faith God will always shine a light on your path and you will never be lost again. He will raise you above your problems and they will diminish. Each of our members were lost at one time, but were led to Blackey Baptist Church through God's Grace.

God has truly blessed Blackey Baptist Church with steady growth, a sense of family, love, encouragement and support. We want to be a spiritual leader in our community and spread the good news of the Gospel. We are always here to listen whether you are a member or not. Never hesitate to contact us or visit us if you need a friend or a home church. Please browse our website and you will find motivation, inspiration, a sense of community and family. Keep coming back to visit us as we grow and add more features for your enjoyment and learning experience.

If you want to see God working come out and visit us!!

The Roman Road - Our Path to Salvation

The way to be saved is explained in the book of Romans in the Bible. When we put these verses in order it becomes our map to salvation. Below are the verses.

1) Who needs salvation?  Answer: Everyone needs salvation because we have all sinned.
...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,...Romans 3:23

2) Why do we need salvation? Answer: The consequence of no salvation is death while salvation leads to eternal life.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:23

3) How does God provide salvation?  Answer: He sent his Son to die on the cross to cleanse us of our sins.
God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8

4) How do we receive salvation?  Answer: We confess our sins and belief in His son Jesus Christ.
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
you will be saved. - Romans 10:9

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” -  Romans 10:13
5) What is life like after salvation? Answer: We are now a child of God and find peace through our faith in Jesus. He will no condemn us for we are saved. He will always be by our side.
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. - Romans 5:1
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.- Romans 8:1
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 38-39

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16

If you would like to be saved from your sin just follow the Roman Road.

After you have accepted Jesus Christ you should find a good local church, fellowship with other Christians, share your story of salvation, pray and read the Word of God each day. Build your faith by working your faith. Please feel free to contact BBC if you need to find a local church or guidance on how to be a Christian.
We hope you will join us either at our church or though out online ministry to learn the word of Christ and find salvation. Our prayers are with each visitor to this site. We are here if you need a friend.
Sincerely, Members of Blackey Baptist Church
